Meh

I know all the changes are rough and I'm sorry. To the commenter who said that it's taking just as long to read a story as it did on lit, that's not exactly true.

With lit it could take me anywhere from two weeks to four just to post a single chapter. Now I can post one chapter a week no problem. Maybe you're going 2-4 weeks without one chapter of a story, but you're still getting posts during that time.

I know there are a lot of things I miss about Lit. I miss the atmosphere, the extra readers, the way my stories were automatically filed, the rating system. I miss a lot of that stuff. What I DON'T miss, is the week or two it took just for Literotica to accept the stories, I don't miss the way my stories were stolen and put on other sites, I don't miss the very detailed editing that needed to be done that took an extra day or two. I don't miss the trolls, I don't miss having to jump through moderators loops and rules, I don't miss the long and drawn out process of editing one of my own stories, and I don't miss not being able to communicate with my readers on a more personal level to see what they want. Think about all the blogs, polls, comments, voting, ideas, etc, that you've been able to throw out there for me, and how many I've listened to. I'm not the only one who gets something out of this.

  2. You feeling the need to post this comment irritates the piss out of me. How dare any reader 'demand' updates from an author. The 'entitlement' that is so rampant today makes me want to chew nails!! Expecting an author to update a story on your say so is the same as thinking companies are in business to give you a job. It's selfish of the reader/commentor.
I for one like your blog much better than Lit. I like the 'inner working' updates, the little snippets we get of upcoming events and the format is enjoyable and easy to read. Oh and let's not forget the pics!! :o)

Please keep up the good work and remember we love your stories and look forward to updates as you can do them, but ultimately you write for you. We are just the tinsel on the Christmas Tree.

    Take Care P

    1. "How dare any reader 'demand' updates from an author" Do you really follow everything that.s blogged here???? Because if youdid, you'd have seen that the owner keeps promising stuff without really delivering tham making excuses after excuses. Polls are made and once the fans results are posted and not to "her" liking, we get some bitching then a "Anyway I'll do what I want" That's not the way to go from a writer with a few fanboys/fangirls to a real publish author. And btw, if you don't have the rights to the photos on the blog, they shouldn't be here because that's theft.

    4. Dude calm your tits.... Things change for people. Its not like they can just write all the time. Ive had to cancel some postings of my stories or postpone them because things changed in my life. The real world doesn't always listen to what *you* want. Sometimes the author might not listen to the fans because they have to decide whats best for *them* if you don't like it.. well SUCK IT UP BUTTERCUP!!!!! The world doesn't revolve around your fat head. If you don't like that then go dig a hole ten feet under and die. :)

  4. G--- I'm sorry you felt the need to post this. I know that you're churning out stories faster here than you ever did on Lit. And, to make it even better, you are able to post updates and eta's for us so we know what's going on. The blog really does have so much more to offer your readers!

Your loyal follows understand that sometimes you need to go through some 'trial and error' before getting into a good groove. So don't worry :) We know we'll get the goods when you're ready!

Oh- and I'm not just saying this because I'm your editor and slightly biased. *winks* I'd be saying all of this anyways :)

  5. Please don't let the few individuals get you down regarding your posts!
Like the previous comments, I love your blog so much better!! People have to understand that it takes time to create your incredible stories.
    Keep up the great work!!!!

  6. I'm sorry certain people have treated you like that. Take it from me, we're grateful you provide us with these great stories and so often - I'm envious of your speed tbh, it can take me a fortnight to complete one short story :P.

  8. To anonymous:

    1) I'm a guy.
    2) I do listen to what my readers vote or advise. Just because I don't listen to them word for word, doesn't mean I don't listen at all. I am posting on saturdays after all. I took a break from the infected series. And I went back too it when people asked.
    3) If you're not happy about all of this, then go back to Literotica

  9. Don't listen to the trolls. You're the greatest. Keep up your amazing work! You're a great writer. I can only hope I have a quarter of the talent you have one day. :)
